Recap: Chicago Cubs vs. Texas

Greg Golson's ninth-inning grand slam provided some insurance for the Rangers, as Texas topped the Chicago Cubs, 7-2, in an exhibition matchup.

Ian Kinsler drove in a pair of runs for the Rangers, while Marlon Byrd had a hit and an RBI in the win. Matt Harrison allowed two runs on three hits in three innings of work, while Derek Holland got the win by throwing 2 1/3 shutout innings.

Aramis Ramirez and Koyie Hill each had a pair of hits for the Cubs in defeat. Sean Marshall threw four scoreless innings, giving up a pair of hits while striking out three, and Chad Fox received the loss after allowing a run on a hit and two walks in the eighth inning.
