Cubs break all time weekend attendance record

Mesa, AZ - The warm weather only spurred on more fans to head to Hohokam Stadium this past weekend. Attendance broke an all time record of 13,010 fans filling the seats for the Chicago Cubs game vs. the Chicago White Sox. ”It’s an all time record for single game attendance in Hohokam Stadium and a new attendance record in the Cactus League.” Hohokam Stadium Manager Dave Dunne said.

The Cubs have started their spring training season 4-1. A 5-3 win against the Los Angeles Dodgers, 7-4 win against the Milwaukee Brewers, a 10-4 win against the Texas Rangers, a 13-0 shut-out win against the Chicago White Sox, and a 9-1 loss against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
